Trying to change the hardware spec from EX1160H to EX1160L and getting an error message saying "Optimization service must be stopped prior to upgrading the system. "

Tried stopping the process, but still getting the same error message.  I've tried via the GUI and CLI.

Any ideas?

I would have rebooted first, to check.......... :)

you need to disable start of optimization process after reboot...

SH (config) # no pm process <> launch enable
SH (config) # no pm process <> launch auto
