Not that experienced using Visio

Looking to create a Visio document  that depicts a process that does the following

1.  Retrieve data from tables in several data bases  (via a sql view)

2.  Insert the retrieved data into a different database

3. create an Excel file extract

4. Ftp the Excel file to an ftp server

I know there is a database shape and an Excel spreadsheet shape but struggling with the best combination of other shapes to document this.  Doesn't seem like an uncommon process

I have spent some time trying to google search for examples but so far haven't found anything

Anybody have a sample I could look at for ideas?

The simplest solution is probably just to draw a flowchart. Start with the Basic Flowchart template, which is located in the Flowchart template category. Then use the Process shape for the steps and the External Data shape to represent the data stores. Not fancy but it gets the message across. Something like this:sample
