Every month we do monthly tape backup. For exchange 2010 we do backup 7 mailbox DBs Sometimes when we do mailbox DB tape backup for Exchange, one of the seven mailbox DBs is backed up on two tapes -partially on one tape and the rest - on another<br />
When we tried to restore mailbox DB to alternate location, everything restores fine except database that split between two tapes We get log files but not the DB itself. It looks like data copied to alternate location, and process is marked as complete, but after going to db folder there is no mailbox database, but going to log folder - all log files are available
