your question is a bit vague but I assume you are saying that the backup should run till 17:00.

if you are starting the backup at 6:00, it will takes whatever time it takes to complete, you cannot expand the time it should take to backup ?

If you want cancel job if reach 17:00 and have not finished yet, you can define end time job on job properties, priority and availability, cancel job if not finished on 11 hours.
