hello,

Can anybody tell me the impact of restarting the VMware CIM service (cimserver).

Hosts are 3.5 and 4.0.

Will starting these services impact virtual machines?

In View 4.x , 4.5, and 4.6  users connected using the View Connection Server on which the service is stopped or restarted are disconnected, including Direct Connect user.
