Hello Experts,

I have a contineous form in ms access with a summary of names.

I want to preview the details in a report preview of a particular name if i click the text box

Example:

Names

1. XXX
2. YYY
3. AAA
4. RRR
5. WWW

if i select and click "XXX" from the contineous form

a report preview will open with the corresponding details of information related to XXX

I hope that you will help me

Thanks,

Czher

You can do this with VBA in the click event of the Name field:
Private Sub YourNameTextBox_Click()
       Docmd.OpenReport "YourReportName", acViewPreview, WhereCondition := "YourNameField = '" & Me.NameField & "'"
End Sub

Open in new window

You'll have to change that to use your exact names for textbox, fields and report.
