download a ShadowProtect for testing but it seems that it only support offline backup.

Which version should I use for backing up servers (SQL Server, Exchange, Window, etc) in online mode ? Do we need to setup an additional server to archive this ? Frankly, we need to attach a portal HDD and backup the data into the server if possible.

Tks

Which one should i use ? Small business trial or server trial ? Do we need to setup a server to capture the backup ?
Can it push directly on portable disk?

sbs full evaluation is a full featured trial while other one has limited capabilities. We don't use it anymore as we have had issues.

we have Symantec Disaster Recovery in place for Exchange  etc and Backexec daily tapes as well.

We have also Acronis Trueimage which does what it says on the tin.
