Joomla Admin Login

Hi all I can no longer access my admin pages within joomla.

I think it may have been hacked.

However I do have access to the SQL databases etc,

can anybody guide as to how to reset the password using phpmyadmin

It depends on what version of Joomla you are using...

Please check these instructions for Joomla! 2.5 and higher versions
http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_recover_or_reset_your_admin_password%3F

For older versions please follow these steps
http://docs.joomla.org/J1.5:How_do_you_recover_or_reset_your_admin_password%3F

ok I have tried that but still no luck also in the table where the names are they say depreciated

what does that mean?

The usertype is depreciated just like it says. It is no longer needed and at some point in the future the field will probably be dropped from the table. It is not needed to be inserted...

You can also try  this to reset the password:
http://vinaora.com/2012/09/how-to-reset-your-joomla-admin-password-using-phpmyadmin/

If that doesn't work for you, please provide the version of your Joomla CMS, because the  password  reset procedure is not the same for all versions.
