Is it a Win8 machine?

Look at the following article to get into UEFI/BIOS from a Win8 machine.

Usually F2 or DEL keys get you in there during POST. Are you using Windows 8 by any chance?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

You can find the user manual here if that helps:

(That was a bit hard to find!)

From what Toshiba says the laptop was shipped with windows 8 64-bit installed but it appears there are windows 7 drivers available for it.  So it could be either.

It looks like your solution may be found here:

http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/Windows-8-8-1/Unable-to-access-BIOS-or-Boot-options-Satellite-C850-1KN/td-p/388545

Let us know if that works!
