hello expert team
i want to know how i can use hp msl 2024 tape library
for backup solution
this device connected by server or work standalone
and if i connected to server like Symantec exec  2010  how i can conntected it over network or fiber
please explain me and give me more scenario for tapes

Any MSL library can be direct-connected to a server.
The ones with Fibre Channel drives can also be connected to a SAN.
The ones with multiple drives can use a feature called "partitioning" and have each drive connected to a different server.
If you don't have the Fibre Channel drives, you can attach the unit to a server called a Backup Server, and run a backup application like Backup Exec, HP Data Protector, etc., and then the backup application will gather data from the clients over the network and write it to the tape drive.

It sounds like you're pretty new to the backup business.  There is more to tell you than you can learn here.   I suggest you read the MSL User Guide from HP ( http://www.hp.com/go/msl ), as well as a book on backup basics.  I've even seen the yellow-covered "Backup for Dummies", if you want to start out at the 101 level.  There are other books on backup that are as good or better.

You'll have to learn not only how to write data to tape, but also how to create tape pools, and how to set up a rotation (often, "Grandfather, Father, Son") to make sure you're keeping data for as long as you need to keep it, but not (too much) longer.

if i dont have fiber channel in my server do i can use it for symatec exec 2010 R3 for backup
by over ethernet port in this device ???
