I have created a user profile service and see accounts under manage profiles, but when I do a search, I do not return any people.  I have the crawler enabled as well and can return results for content on the site.

How do I get people to show up?

Hi,

have you followed the steps mentioned in this technet article for setting up people search?

Perhaps the crawl rule authentication is not configured correctly.
