Images stopped displaying in FF on Mac Mavericks

All of a sudden today, images stopped displaying in FF on my mac, running Mavericks.
I don't know what happened.

Any ideas?

Did you perhaps by accident turn them off with some key combination?

I got it to work. I found an option to reset FireFox to its factory defaults.
