CheckPoint Open Server R75 Policy Install

Hi all,

I have taken over the responsibility of a checkpoint open server R75.40 running in a distributed environment. I have the edge device and then my management server.  I configure the firewall policies from the management server, then "install policy" to the edge firewall.

I get "operation failed".  I tested the SIC communication and that seems fine.  I did see in the fwd.elg that it complained about SIC.

I also get an error when I tell it to create a version. Error: 0x80004005 (unspecified error) robo-control.NDB cannot allocate memory.

Rebooting the management server fixed the issue.
