CSS3 Animations Tools

is there a way to test css3 animations quickly?

i.e. i have build up a series of animations and to see the final animation i have to run through all the previous animations in the browser first which becomes tedious

Flash of course used to have a timeline that you could scroll through - are there any tools similar for css3 animations?

No, but what you can do is just set up a set of button with a click event to fire them individually.

Al lot of CSS animations is frequently not a good idea unless they are necessary for presentation, if they are just for show then users will consider them to be distractions and may avoid the page.

its for a game i'm building which has "stages"

So your idea of buttons is prob a good idea then

Yeah if it is in stages it is a good idea to test each section standalone anyway.  That way you get rid of the typos and syntax errors and know that each piece works on its own.  then whwn you put it together you will anly have to deal with the integration and not have to go through all the code if an error shows up.
