I need to grant a specific set of users the right to unlock other user's accounts and change their passwords. I managed to do it in Server 2013 but it was a real pain.
We just migrated to Server 2012 Standard (Windows 7 on the workstations). I have Googled "Server 2012" and "Help Desk Accounts" until I am blue in the face. I can find sporadic references to Server 2008 but nothing with respect to Server 2012.
Can anyone shoot me a link on how to do this in Server 2012?

Basically what you want to do is Delegate certain permission to your helpdesk staff in AD. The link below is along the lines .. but more importantly there are a lot of pointer links in the thread with a lot of good info.

Yes. That is the way I did it in 2003. I was kind of hoping there might be something specific to 2012. BTW I do not see any links.....
