Search in Gmail

Hi

It seams that when I save some email in folder in my Gmail account sometime I loose the attachment (like an pdf invoice for example)

When I try an advance search I can't find all the time , any suggestions?

If you find the email, you're saying the attachment is missing?

From your next line ... are you saying that you can't find it with search?

Could it be just that the icon is missing as per:
http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/pJTsRwE0crs

For important attachments, you could use Drive as per:
http://gmailblog.blogspot.com.au/2013/11/attachments-in-gmail-now-with-power-of.html
