I have a user that I need to somehow find all his meetings in exchange 2007 and delete them.

Is there some script I can run or a 3rd party tool that might help?

I think this will work in all versions of Outlook. Has nothing to do with Exchange.

Open Calendar for the user.
Click on View Menu
Click Change View
Choose List View

Now you have all calendar events in a tidy list format so you can do Ctrl-A and then delete them all or be more selective if desired. No rocket science required.

now, will doing this actually cancel the meeting and send a cancellation so it gets removed from others calendars?

or does it just remove from the users calender that I'm deleting if from?

This I do not know since I do not have a string of events that I need to cancel to test it on. You might test it on 2-3 to see what will happen. Sounds like an interesting ooops you have there...
