SkyDrive: How to exclude certain sub-folders

Hello,

I'm using Microsoft SkyDrive to keep some folders in sync between a PC and laptop.

If I have an example folder structure such as:

Directory A
- Sub-Directory W
- Sub-Directory X
- Sub-Directory Y
- Sub-Directory Z
- lots of independent files
How do I tell SkyDrive I want it to upload/synch all of Directory A, but not sub-directory Z?

Thanks for replying. However, what selective sync does is it lets you decide which of the folders already in your Skydrive you want to download and keep in sync with a device. It does not let you control what folders are stored in SkyDrive in the cloud.

Here is what you need

SkyShellEx installs on your computer.

Then when you browse your folders right click and select which folders you want to sync

I have that installed and use it already. It allows me to choose the sub-folders I want to have synced. So, in my example, I could choose each of the sub-folders I want to upload. But I could not choose the files in the main Directory A (choosing Directory A would upload EVERYTHING in the directory --- files and sub-folders) and I want to exclude certain sub-folders.

It looks like what I want to do is not possible yet with SkyDrive.
