I'm trying to set up syslog logging on a Cisco Catalyst 4506 with IOS Version 12.2(25)EWA14
The logging configuration is:
no logging console
logging trap debugging
logging facility syslog
logging source-interface Vlan1
logging 10.1.1.77
logging 10.3.40.140
I'm using the Kiwi Syslog console from Solarwinds (eval version for now). About the only messages I get are the "configured from console" messages when I exit config mode.

I should have seen that! Although it didn't do a lot it did increase the messages a bit. We are going to update to a more recent version of IOS and see if it helps.
