General Reporting Question

Currently I use VB.Net 2012.  I've been tinkering with Crystal Reports 2008, it's pain in butt. I really don't know it very well of course.  At my work they use Access for reporting.  I was considering writing a VB front end to launch reports in Access.  Thoughts??   What's being done today in the programming world for reporting??

Thanks!

WHy go to the trouble of using VB to run Access reports.

You should just do that in Access VBA

What issues are you having with Crystal?
I would recommend that you get the version that is available for VS2012.  It will be easier to integrate into an VS.Net application and it has all the features of CR 2008.
