How to tell the runtime to locate machine.config file ?

My c# windows CRM  using .net framework 4.5 and my application  (BY DEFAULT) reading connection string from machine.config file.  How to tell my runtime to read the machine.config file

 from

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG

instead of

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Config
