I am having problems with the DHCP server on our Windows Server 2012 its assigning multiple ip address's to itself and need to understand why :) see below for screenshot

Given the timestamp difference, and lack of a posted IPconfig, my first guess is that a VPN setup has been enabled, RRAS, at service startup, defaults to requesting a block of IPs for allocation to anticipated VPN endpoint connections, and that often creates a look like what you've posted.

You are correct ok so this is normal thats what i needed to know also this server is in development and i've setup routing and remote access

the workstation that i have connected was able to connect to the domain etc.. but is unable to get internet any ideas?

Since that is unrelated, for search engines and to get better expert advice, I'd recommend closing this question and opening a new one providing as much detail as possible and picking new tags and zones.
