Directory services could not start because of the following error: There is not enough space on he disk

Directory services could not start because of the following error: There is not enough space on he disk. eror status 0xc000007f

I'll be going over to where this server is at to deal with this
I asked the end user to boot into Safe Mode but it will not even boot into safe mode
he tells me is goes into safe mode and starts to load Server 2003 but then reboots on it's own

I'm going to take a CD copy of
Acronis bootable for SBS with me
and
Acronis Disk Director 11

Any other suggestions would be appricated

O-boy
I was able to get in using F8 and selecting Directory Services Restore mode

I cleared some space and server started to work just fine. Since it still had only 15% free space I decided to use Acronis Disk Director 11 to free up some space on one partition and add to the C drive partition where I need it
I used the command on partition D drive "resize volume" and took 10GB I then resized C by trying to add this 10gb using the "merg volume" command and now server will not boot
I get this error:
"windows cannot start because the following file is missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe"

any suggestions?
Thanks
I ended up booting with a Linuex CD backing up data and reinstalling SBS2003
I jacked up the O.S. with Acronis Disk Director
