capturing device (HDMI) to DVD writer (USB) - possibility?

can you pl review if the sony camcorder  hdr-cx220

http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-camcorders/sony-handycam-hdr-cx220/4507-6500_7-35562121.html

is able to send direct feed to record DVD writer

in other words, can the HDR-CX220 directly write to a portable dvd writer? the av on the camcorder says an option of HDMI or  Composite video/audio.
http://www.lg.com/us/support/products/documents/LG-DS-Spec-GP60NS50.pdf does not mention HDMI or  Composite video/audio, just usb..

does this need an adapter to work? if so, what kind. please suggest.

thanks

It might work. They both say they have a USB port.

It depends on if the DVD burner will pick up the cam as an Input device.
