Exchange 2003 MAPI_E_LOGON_FAILED 80040111
Hi,
Long time viewer 1st time subscriber.
We have the following issue :
The information store could not be opened [mapi1.0 -[Mpai_e_logon_failed (80040111)]]
check that the service has access to the mailbox,
Now we have two domains using a trust relationship
domain a :has the service running called email stripper +user
domain b has the mailbox (exchange 2003 ) that we want to strip.
How can we get a user from domain A to have MAPI ACCESS full mail box access to exchange 2003 in doamin B we have already given full mail box access to the user in domain A (Mailbox rights)
Any ideas or input would really be appreciated.

Hi,
we were only getting this error for the remote user from domain A running the service that needed to connect to domain B
so what i did was added the user from domain A to the security properties of the user in Domain B Not on the exchange side but from the normal ad account and seems that this has fixed the issues, but we are still testing,
