Excel default email
In Excel 2010, when I click on an email address, it opens Windows Live Mail, which I normally don't use. Instead, I want Gmail to open automatically.
I can't find a way to change the default. How do I do it?
Thanks,
John

I access Gmail only through a browser (Chrome).
If I set up Gmail as a client, are my messages synced locally and on their server, or are they still only on their server?
I hate the idea of having any connection with Windows Live Mail. Is there a way of doing it independently?

I think I'll stick with my present setup. Thanks for the education.
If you set your GMail account up in an actual Email Client, then you can do it. Since you have Windows Live Mail, you can create an email account for the GMail there and all will be fine. You can still access GMail via web browser or with WLM.
I am also certain this happens everywhere except for the browser you open GMail in.
