In the office we run a TVA50, and kxnt343 desk phones. &nbsp;I currently have one in the home office running over VPN and it works great. &nbsp;I recently had them (phone provider) add a kx-tgp550 for the residential line for the house over the same line. &nbsp;Overall it works great, the only thing I miss on it is call waiting. &nbsp;If the home number is being used, any inbound call just gets an immediate VM prompt.<br />

The phone provider is telling me it is not possible with this particular phone, though the tech sheet says it does feature call waiting. &nbsp;I am totally not familiar with phones and pbxs, but this seems strange in this day and age. <br />

Anyone know of how to get this to do call waiting also?

Communication technology uses channels to transmit information (as electrical signals), either over a physical medium (such as signal cables), or in the form of electromagnetic waves. The word is often used in its plural form, telecommunications, because it involves many different technologies.
