Dear Experts,
I need to find a software solution that will search for all the words in a piece of text in the same grammar category.  I would like to search all the first adverb.  Position the cursor there.  Then then next one.  The same for adjectives.  Ideally I would also like them highlighted in different colors.

Is there a way to do this in MS Word.  Is there a free grammar program that does this?  I tried the "Grammar Browser" but found it was very hard to use and did not have this searching capability.

Here is a question similar to yours:

Is there a computer program that will highlight adjectives?
That is -- highlight all adjectives in a document.

One comment was made that not all languages have adjectives, or first adverbs, etc.

You can read the comments that discuss the two ways to write an algorithm that can do it.

By the way, I read some reviews of Grammar Browser and they were 5 of 5 stars, so that may be the best one out there.
