Netgear Prosafe FVS318v3 Speed configuration question

I just upgraded my home Verizon FIOS service from 15/5 to 50/15 and I don't see any change on the download speed.

A year ago or so I replaced the Verizon router with the Netgear Prosafe FVS318v3 so that I could configure site-to-site vpn connection with my office and it has been working without any problems.

However, now that I have upgraded, Verizon is saying their upgrade is only supported using the Verizon router.  I believe this is a combination of BS, incompetence and the desire to sell me new products that I don't need.

Does anyone know of any setting in the Netgear that needs to be changed to make my connection compatible with the higher bandwidth of my new connection?

Thanks.

I put my Cisco RV VPN router in front of the ISP modem. This works fine, site to site VPN works, and I can upgrade the ISP modem without issue.

I suggest you try this with your Netgear Router.
