I have outlook folders set up with Rules, I also have Unread folders that holds all the messages that have not been read.
I need an Unread folder that will hold only the messages that are in the inbox and have not been read yet. This way when I click on the Unread folders , I will be able to see only the emails from the inbox that have not been read.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks

I have that already.... it includes the unread messages redirected by rules..

I need an Unread messages folder just for unread messages that are in the inbox folder.

You'll have to create the Search Folder settings manually, not using the predefined settings. (The following keywords might not match 100% - no English Outlook here, sorry):

Create a new Search Folder, selecting the last option.
name it, e.g. "Unread Inbox"
select the Inbox only in the list of folders to search for, and make sure to uncheck the "Search subfolders" option.
In Criteria select the 2nd tab, "only elements", "Unread".
That should be all you need.
