I would like to reset the global email  default template in Outlook 2003 what is the best way to proceed?  Tony

find the folder where the template is stored - you can do this in word under Options, advanced, file locations.

there should be a copy of normalemail.dot saved there - this is your current template - replace this with a copy of the original default - I don't have 2003 so can't provide it
