When trying to access internet from control panel I get a message that there is an error and inter net explorer must shut dow.<br />

I'm using windows 8.1 and internet explorer 11<br />
<br />
Ran spy hunter threat search and cleared all errors - i still get the error message.<br />
<br />
Only get the message when activating &nbsp;interned explorer from the control panel - it seems to work fine from the widows 8.1 internet exlorer tile on the main windows 8.1 screen<br />
<br />
All web searches suggest that this is a malware / virus problem.<br />
<br />
Do you have any suggestions?<br />
