I am trying to do a mail merge letter based on google docs and could use some assistance.

Google spreadsheets do not allow macros but the sharing options are so powerful that we are now using them over Microsoft Office solutions!

They do however accept these functions https://support.google.com/drive/table/25273?hl=en as well as something they call "google apps script" https://developers.google.com/apps-script/ which they say is based on java script.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.
