How can i add multiple user to access an application on server 2008r2 enterprise .I have added the role of remote desk top services in server 2008 r2.How to add multiple users to access this server simultaniously.my server is not on domain .and what is the limit for evaluation.please explain in detail

You can use the local domain on the server to control user accounts.  Each user will need a user account to access the server at the same time.

You will have 120 day grace period  to purchase the required number of TS CAL's  and get the Licensing Server set up. I usually install the Licensing Server on the Terminal Server.

It is very important to do things in the correct order.

Terminal Server Installation
In Windows Server 2008, you must do the following to install the Terminal Server role service, and to configure the terminal server to host programs:

1)    Use Server Manager to install the Terminal Server role service.

 2)   Install programs on the server.

 3)    Configure remote connection settings. This includes adding users and groups that need to connect to the terminal server.

How to install application on Windows 2008 Terminal Server
It’s recommended to install Terminal services role before installing any application which will be available to terminal server users. If TS role installed after the applications are installed, some the application may not work correctly in a multiple user environment.

Overview of TS Licensing
To use Terminal Services, you must also have at least one license server deployed in your environment. For small deployments, you can install both the Terminal Server role service and the TS Licensing role service on the same computer. For larger deployments, it is recommended that the TS Licensing role service be installed on a separate computer from the Terminal Server role service.

remote desktop services are already installed on the server so i chooseremote setting in My computer properties and added all the users to remote desktop which i created locally on the server.because on win server 2003 i used to add the users in terminal server configration in RDP properties.so i m not sure that i m doing in the right way.
is it the right procedure.


one more thing that i want to change my username in expert-exchange.how can i change this.
