Windows 8.1 bootcamp driver problem?

Dear experts,

Guess what! i got a new laptop a brand new macbook pro retina 15"
I have installed windows 8.1 and and osx maverick.

My bootcamp version is 5.0.5411

Bootcamp downloaded the newest drivers for windows and configure these drivers on a USB stick.

Everything worked fine in the first place.

But then the following suddenly happened when working with windows 8.1

- several keys on my keyboard were not working. for example the c an the v.
- after a reboot the keys changed to weird chars with stripes ΓΈ and weird things.
- I was playing a game and it says it was out of system memory! whoat! i have like 8 GB and was playing league of legends. which is not a complex game.

It Looks like these drivers are not working with windows 8.1?
But the weird thing is. i'm typing right now with 0 problems.
Is there a connection what triggers these issues?

Anyone had the same problems?

I'm running OSX Mavericks and Win 8.1 on my MBA with no issues.

Can you confirm that you see BootCamp Control Panel running in the system tray under Windows?

What do you have under "Region and Language Settings" ?
