How to check log in RedHat VPN server PPTP

Hi All


        I have a linux redhat vpn server, just wonder how to check if vpn client has connected to the vpn server, what time they connected in and quit, how do i find that ? under /var/log/ppp the folder inside is empty, any idea ?

are you sure the vpn is ppp and not, for example, openvpn where it would be /var/log/openvpn.log

if so check that logging is enabled in the config file
