asked on

How can I block WSUS from installing IE10?

This should be straight forward, yet WSUS pushes out IE10, even after DENYING anything and everything with "Internet Explorer 10" in it!  Is there some other name the installer package goes by?

Valmatic,

I did the same search as you and then DECLINED "EVERYTHING" it found, yet the updates keep appearing on some clients that say 'Managed by Admin/WSUS'...

if you recently declined these updates i think there is a group policy setting that tells the client how often to check back with WSUS between 0-24 hours or something.
