using mysql workbench only to run query

I have long queries to run.
I am looking for a remote mysql server that has a long timeout time.
I can not use localhost on my desktop computer because we need remote access.
Currently I am using godaddy hosting which times out after 3 minutes.

If query times out, I have no data.
My client needs to see data.

I would prefer a host that allows this behavior instead of modifying data and shortening queries.  I added sql server zone because I have run 10 minute queries in sql server  but need to do long queries in mysql.

I am not looking to buy expensive dedicated server just to test this, I am looking for database hosting that is proven to work.
Maybe add more database zones so I can find database hosting.

I have not heard of GoDaddy killing queries that run for longer than 3 minutes. Are you CERTAIN that it's not a database problem or maybe a limit with the amount of data you're pulling back?

You can always try Amazon web services - they have database hosting:

okay amazon is the answer.  I have never understood their complex pricing structure.

Thank you.

It's all based on hours of usage. In a 31-day month, there are 744 hours. However, you are probably not using their services for every single one of those 744 hours. Chances are that during the night, there are hours where nobody is using any of the services. If you only use their services for 8 hours of every day, then you're only using 248 hours for the month.

So instead of paying $100 a month for something you only use for 8 hours a day, maybe you end up only paying $30 or so. Basically, it allows you to pay for what you actually use. The only caveat is that you really have to plan out what the maximum usage so that your usage can grow as necessary without making you go broke.

They have sales support that can help explain it. Just tell them your scenario and they can estimate the cost.
