I'm trying to change the row height of rows 1 to 5.

Rows(1:5).rowheight = 34    This doesn't work BTW.

How about autofitting rows 1 through 5?

Rows(1:5).rowheight.autofit

Try:
Rows("1:5").RowHeight = 34
Rows("1:5").EntireRow.AutoFit
