Thin client OS for Multipoint server 2012

I am looking at re-purposing some older pc's to use as clients with Multipont Server 2012.  Are there any thin client operating systems around that can be used to connect to MS2012?  My preference is a basic os that will be capable of login and connection to the server.

Multipoint supports RDP connections so you can use whatever you want for that.  A Linux distro, Microsoft offers a "thin" version for Windows 7 (Thin PC) I think.  Old computers with old OSs, etc, etc.

I guess my goal is to be able to have the machine boot up to a login screen to connect with mp server.  Ideas where this can happen without alot of end user intervention?

At one client we have setup Windows Thin PC and customized the boot process so it runs mstsc immediately at startup.

I've also seen people who have bought $40 Raspberry Pi machines and configured them to boot straight to the RDP tool.
