While converting an physical machine to a VM host, can we start another conversion as I encounter the following message. However, the source machine can be accessed through \\x.x.x.x\c$ ..

Any idea ?

I would recommend you install VMware vCenter Converter Standalone on the computer or service to be converted (P2ved). This will overcome any network issues, and is recommended and best practice by VMware.
