Xerox 560

Trying to mfigure out how to remove the "Log In" required option for using the copy feature on our Xerox WorkCentere 560.

It sounds like you may have "Accounting" enabled on the printer.

If you disable Accounting then it won't ask for the user to log in.

How do you go about disabling this feature on this machine?

In CentreWare Internet Services, click Properties > Accounting > Accounting
Configuration.
Next to Accounting Type, select Local Accounting.
Select Disable next to the features that you don't want.

Is there anyway to reset this account to default?  It was set by the previous admin & we have no clue what it is.

There is no way for the user to reset the admin account. You could try contacting Xerox - they may be able to do it.

The default user ID is "admin" (case sensitive). The default passcode is "1111"

The defaults work to get into aim account on printer, however it does not work when connecting to CenterWare
