yesterdays date in sharepoint designer string builder

I am sending an email using the sharepoint deisgner 2010 workflow. I want to include
subject as report date <yesterdays date>
Can any one help me with this?

You need to create a couple of variables... 1 being the date you start with which can either be created date, "current date" or a hard coded date of your choice.
You put this value into variable 1.
You then perform an "add time to date" action, change the values to suit and then put the result in your 2nd variable which you can then use in the subject field of your email.
