Make external IP address available inside a network
I recently assigned an IP address to one of my websites (which is also https) in IIS. I noticed I can only access the secure IP address from outside the network. Is there a way to configure IIS so that I can access the IP address from inside the network without having to change to the server name, i.e., https://servername/ instead of https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx?
If you are running your own dns server (split), you can set the resolution of the URL to be on your LAN instead of a WAN ip.

And if I'm not running my own DNS server?
