My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit and I use office 2007. I would like to see a simple sample database, of how a Main Form and sub form is implemented.
I have a main table and a book table. For a given date in the Main table, there may be about more than 2 books that were distributed. I have made the relationship of 1 to many from the Main to the books table. Also the index field are in both tables. The book tables has its record source from the List of books table. On its own, this Form displays the books. But when I inserted this Form into the Main table, and also set the IDs to link from the main to child, but I am still unable to say, add for a given date, say 3 different types of books that were distributed.
Thus, the need to see a sample of how this is being implemented. Thank u.
