IPhone and Exchange
Hey guys
Got a big problem here and I suspect its not fixable, but I will ask just in case
A customer of mines company went under and he had to move his email to a Pop server. He left his exchange account on his ipad and iphone. He then created a pop account on his phone and ipad. They were kinda buggy for a while so he asked me to come in (3 months after his company died) and fix them. I suspected it was because of his Exchange account no longer working so I removed the account, removed the Pop account and got it working. He gets his phone and discovers that all of his contacts and such are gone. Just what I needed to hear. With his Exchange server gone and him not even synching to it for the past few months there is no way to reconnect to an exchange account.
Is there any remedy for this?

I feel sorry for him in that case. He should learn to do a backup sooner than later.
