Hello,
We recently deployed Exchange 2013 and we are using the built in archiving solution.
We are using a custom retention policy and are archiving anything older than 1 year old.  The issue is some of our users use tasks heavily.  Their tasks are in many cases over 1 year old.  How can I keep Exchange from moving task items to the archive authttps://secure.experts-exchange.com/askQuestion.jsp?taid=0#omatically?

Hello

You can try the registry key  ELCAssistantCalendarTaskRetentionEnabled   http://exchange1107.rssing.com/chan-1890771/all_p6.html
This key exists in Exchange 2010 SP2 RU4, but I don't know and I don't check if this key is available with Exchange 2013
