Unable to import VM into Server 2012 r2

Hi

I have been playing with server 2012 and had some VMs running on it.

I recently rebuilt the server and went to server 2012 r2

the vm's are still in tact as they were on a network store

When trying to import them using hyperv manager, i get the following

"hyper-v did not find the virtual machines to import from location d:\VHD\
Windows Server 2012

Hello mate,

I believe that you are looking for something like this http://blogs.technet.com/b/rmilne/archive/2013/05/31/hyper-v-did-not-find-virtual-machine-to-import.aspx

I don't have to copy it here as it's not from me. just try it and let me know as it works for me, i hope this can help you

Given he name of that folder, I'm guessing you are loomig at he folder that holds the virtual hard disk files for your VMs, but your VM files (hay hold other settings, like NICs, number of processors, memory, etc) are stored elsewhere. You need to point to THAT folder to import a VM.
