I am loading an Excel File using a JQGrid.  I need an animated image to show while I am loading the Excel file.  I would prefer to use JQuery and Ajax to do this.

Thanks,

Dan

Add this inside your document read block before any other code
$.ajaxSetup({
     beforeSend:function() {
         $("<img src='http://miniontours.yzi.me/loading.gif'  style='position:relative;top:200px;left:200px;z-index:2000' id='loading-excel' />").appendTo("body");
     },
