I would like to download a copy of the Global address list onto my "C" drive.  How can I do this?  Currently I can only see it if I'm addressing a message.

Are you using exchange cache mode?  Did you want to copy the list to your outlook list of contacts?  If you open up the GAL you can highlight all the contacts and right-click and chose Add to Contacts.

If you are using exchange cache-mode the GAL should be accessible for outlook would have downloaded the offline address book.
